Total is proud to support Nick Ross and the Concept Motorsport team at round two of the North Island Endurance Series.

When Nick Ross and the Concept Motorsport team arrived at the wet Hampton Downs track this September, he knew something wasn’t right. At the end of the last practice session with the TOTAL Lubricant Nissan Altima, a rear wing failure sent Nick towards turn one at 230km/hr. Fortunately for Nick, he came off lightly with a minor wall scrape.

Saturday brought a turn of events, with Nick qualifying. Securing 11th on the grid at the start of the first hour, the great start saw the TOTAL Altima gain a few positions by turn one, leaving Nick at 6th place with only 20 minutes to go! Nick crossed the finish line in 6th place overall, securing 4th in his class on track.

An overall fantastic result from the team, with the car showing great race pace and consistency throughout the hour.

Nick and the team look forward to competing in the next one-hour at Pukekohe on the 24th of October. Congratulations to Nick and the team at Concept Motorsport!
